Contemporary Embroidery

Since being fortunate enough to attend the Kirrily Johnston fashion show earlier in the year, I've been thinking a lot about her beautiful colour combinations, especially the chartreuse yellow and bright pink.  This inspired me to play around with some embroidery - especially french knotting! 

Mokum have a beautiful example in their latest Vacation collection.

It's great to play around with a contemporary version of such an old craft form... lots more to follow!
