New Decortex Collection

Yesterday I was fortunate to attend a presentation by Damiano Petrioli, the Managing Director of Decortex Firenze at the Domestic Textiles showroom.

He showed their new collection, with inspirations from Africa which included beautiful linens and a lot of wide-width Trevira drapery that would be perfect in commercial situations.

 

This bold print is part of the African inspired collection.  There were a lot of natural, textured upholstery weight fabrics that would team well with the floaty diaphanous drapery.  Alternatively, there were lots of bright cottons in unusual colours.

 

  

My favourite was this pleated double width Trevira fabric that also comes in a charcoal grey and natural tones - the pleats giving the fabric some body so that it can hold its shape when draped. 

 

 

 

Definitely worth checking out these beautiful quality fabrics for contemporary or classic settings.
